ABOUT US
Squan Custom Frame Shop is owned and operated by Margaret
"Maggie" McChesney. Margaret is a lifetime Monmouth County
resident and graduate of Kean University. In addition to on-the-job
training, Margaret has attended framing school, workshops and
seminars and continues to educate herself in the framing
industry. Margaret purchased the shop, previously named Pelly
Art Center, in 2001 and moved the shop to its current location in
Manasquan just two years later, under the name Squan Custom
Frame Shop. Services offered include creative custom framing,
prints, needlework stretched and blocked, and oil and photo
restoration. All framing is done on premises. Archival quality mats
and designer frame moulding choices include Bainbridge and
Crescent, Larson Juhl, Roma, and Laville, just to name a few.
Glazing choices provided include premium glass by TruVue. The
